Digital Marketing for Black Friday (15 Ideas)

Digital Marketing for Black Friday (15 Ideas)1 min read

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the United States and is considered the start of the Christmas shopping season. It is a day when most stores offer discounts and promotions, especially on electronics.

In Bulgaria, unlike in other countries, the choice of the Friday day varies from year to year and is usually earlier in order to start the mad race between traders. In 2022, it will take place on the 18th of November.

With colleagues from The Facebook group "Digital Marketing for Entrepreneurs" created a quick list of marketing tacticsif you are looking for last minute ideas to make your business more attractive.

A list of Black Friday marketing tactics:

  1. Send "save the date" emails to your customer base + reminders/reminders.
  2. Put a pop-up sign-up form on your website to collect Black Friday emails.
  3. Start discounting early (you don't have time! :P)
  4. Extend your discounts until Monday, when it's Cyber Monday (also very effective).
  5. Use a countdown clock on your website.
  6. Provide free shipping for orders over a certain amount.
  7. Give a surprise gift with purchase.
  8. Use a virtual 'wheel of fortune' to gamify your rewards.
  9. Install a chatbot on your website to help with questions and orders.
  10. Post "shoppable" content on social networks.
  11. Make a whole month with discounts, for example "Green November" (based on the example of Balli Go)
  12. Ensure all customers can contact you by phone (explained by Netpeak)
  13. Instead of the "black" colour, choose something more unconventional like pink (after the example of Ronique)
  14. Don't overdo the discounts if the bills don't come out in the end.
  15. Even in busy times, strive for impeccable service!

Good sales! 💜
