At the end of 2014, Mark Zuckerberg predicted that in the 5 years ahead, video content views on Facebook will take up the majority of traffic on the social network. Today, these assumptions have taken on gigantic proportions, and besides the fact that we as consumers love watching video, more and more brands are relying on it in their communication with consumers, and according to data for the largest social network, over 8 billion video views take place in a day.

 

The Internet ocean offers video content of different types and natures, and it doesn't always have marketing objectives at stake, but some of its properties make it particularly effective for marketers.
