In the last days of this year, it's time for predictions. The future of social media marketing in 2025? Let's guess.

Here's what I think will be important to pay attention to in the new 365 days, and I haven't ranked them in order of importance:

1 - Human-generated content Contrary to expectations, due to the many AI publications, we will soon be looking for "made by human", with some businesses sure to enshrine it in their philosophy.

2 - Authenticity is gold - Gen-Z's core value, the human will be stronger than the "perfect and set".

3 - Personal brands will be a source of trust - due to the many uncertain information, experts (I include micro and nano influencers in this) will be sought for their opinion when making a purchase.

 I'm taking this opportunity to reveal that in the early weeks of 2025, I will be publishing a comprehensive personal branding program that will be geared towards content creators and entrepreneurs.

4 - AI at all levels - despite the previous three, AI will gain momentum, with big leaps in "text-to-video" technologies expected.

5 - Quality > quantity - I can't stress any more here, but we should now be "firing our best rounds" instead of trying to cover X number of posts per week.

6 - Micro Communities of Interest - in continuation of the above, to avoid unnecessary noise, users would look for communities where they could get quality content, and they would even pay for it.

7 - The video keeps working - it would not be redundant to say that in 2025, short-form content (TikTok type) will be adequate. After all, LinkedIn is headed in that direction too.

8 - AI improvements in ads - at Meta are actively introducing and promoting AI settings in ads, with the time likely coming soon to displace "manual" settings entirely.

9 - More live streaming and online shopping - We see it in TikTok, where live broadcasts, along with online shopping in general, have huge potential. Yet few in Bulgaria are taking advantage.

10 - AI chatbots for customer service - creating them is becoming more and more accessible, now with ChatGPT. You can upload information about your business, FAQ, and the chatbot can respond through the site.
